The European Union will invite the next UK Prime Minister, as well as nine countries hoping to join the bloc, including Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and six western Balkan states, plus non-candidates Armenia and Azerbaijan to a summit on new pan-European security body scheduled on October 6 in Prague, a British daily newspaper The Guardian reported on Saturday.

Britain’s next prime minister, widely expected to be Liz Truss, will be invited to join fellow leaders across Europe at the summit in Prague on  October 6 to forge a European Political Community, a body dedicated to advancing security across the continent amid the Russian invasion in Ukraine.

The rest of the guest-list is straightforward: there will be invites for Norway and Switzerland, non-EU countries deeply integrated into the single market, as well as nine countries hoping to join the EU, including Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and six western Balkan states, plus non-candidates Armenia and Azerbaijan.
