Creation of committee to fight against French colonialism proposed

It is proposed to create a committee to fight against French colonialism, the head of the Africa Mundus think tank based in France, Emmanuel Argo, said at the International Conference themed “Neocolonialism: Human Rights Violations and Injustice”, Report informs.

He expressed his appreciation for Azerbaijan’s fight against the illegal behavior of the French government: “I think we should create a specific committee. We should unite our efforts.”

At the same time, Argo recalled that he was a member of the municipal council in a small village: “This municipality is run by right-wingers. When I participated in the last elections, our people asked why. Because they were aware of the attitude shown to black people. I also knew how the right-wingers would react. They told me, ‘you are black and you should shut up’. However, I calmly expressed my opinion.”
