The President announced that in 2025, natural gas production will commence at the “Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli” field.

This is a very promising structure with a very large volume of reserves. President Ilham Aliyev stated this at the 10th ministerial meeting within the framework of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 2nd ministerial meeting within the framework of the Advisory Council on Green Energy, as reported by “Azertag”.

Declaring that “Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli” has long been the main source of our oil exports, the head of state noted that this block will become an additional source of Azerbaijani gas supplies alongside the “Shah Deniz” and “Absheron” fields.
