Azerbaijan enhances cooperation in peaceful use of nuclear technologies and strengthens regional partnerships

In his speech, Bayramov emphasized the importance of nuclear safety while promoting the affordable use of nuclear technologies. He highlighted Azerbaijan’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to explore the use of nuclear technology in addressing challenges like the mine threat, which remains a critical issue for Azerbaijan. Stressing the role of the IAEA, Bayramov believes that its contribution will be crucial in these endeavors.

Furthermore, Bayramov met with Türkiye’s Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, to discuss bilateral and multilateral strategic cooperation areas, including regional peace-building efforts. The meeting, reported by the ministry on its official X account, underscores the ongoing diplomatic and cooperative engagements between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, highlighting their commitment to addressing regional and global challenges together.
