Armenian media reports that Vardanyan has gone on hunger strike in Baku prison

The family of Ruben Vardanyan, a Karabakh separatist detained in a Baku prison, announced today that he has started a hunger strike demanding his immediate and unconditional release, as well as the release of other detained separatists. This was reported by news.am.

The hunger strike began on April 5, 2024. It is also reported that since starting the hunger strike, Vardanyan has stopped making phone calls to his family.
