Azerbaijan and Tajikistan support each other’s initiatives within international organizations

“We have expressed our support for continuing the practice of backing each other’s initiatives within international and regional organizations. We welcome Azerbaijan’s hosting of the upcoming session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) this year.”

This was stated by the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, in a press statement with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, as reported by AzerTAc.

“We are optimistic about the prospects for the development of Tajik-Azerbaijani relations,” emphasized the President of Tajikistan.
