France blocks entry of Azerbaijani journalist to seminar in Germany

On June 11, by an illegal request from France, an employee of “AzerTaj” was blocked from entering the Schengen Zone to participate in a seminar in the city of Bonn.

At Cologne/Bonn Airport, correspondent Aygun Hasanova was informed of the entry ban, despite having all necessary documents. After intervention from the Azerbaijani Embassy in Germany and the UNFCCC Secretariat, the correspondent was granted entry.
