The Aliyevs pay tribute to the Pope in a Baku Church

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the Church of St. Mary in Baku to express their condolences over the passing of Pope Francis.

The head of state and the first lady were received by the Apostolic Prefect of the Catholic Church in Azerbaijan, Bishop Vladimir Fekete.

President Aliyev and the First Lady signed the book of condolences.
