President orders development of action plan for ‘Shusha – ECO Tourism Capital’

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has instructed the development of an action plan in connection with Shusha being granted the status of Tourism Capital of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) for 2026.

According to Report, the head of state signed a corresponding decree.

The decision to grant this status was made on October 5, 2023, during the 5th Meeting of ECO Tourism Ministers held in Ardabil, Iran.
