More than 1,000 tickets have been sold within a short period for the Baku–Tbilisi–Baku railway route, Azerbaijan Railways reported.
According to the company, more than 400 tickets have been sold from Baku and over 500 from Tbilisi. Due to high demand, an additional carriage has been added to the first train departing from Baku.
Azerbaijan Railways also noted that temporary delays are being observed in the online sales system and at ticket offices amid increased demand.
