Azerbaijan and the United States to launch first Economic Dialogue in Baku

Azerbaijan and the United States will hold their first Economic Dialogue during Baku Energy Week, with discussions expected to focus on trade, investment, energy and digital development, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economy reported.

The event will be jointly organized by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy and the U.S. Department of State in accordance with the Strategic Partnership Charter between the two countries.

Participants in the dialogue will discuss prospects for expanding cooperation in regional connectivity, trade, industry, transit, energy security, investment, artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.

A separate session will be devoted to cooperation between Azerbaijani and U.S. business circles. A number of cooperation agreements and commercial contracts are expected to be signed following the session.
