Azerbaijani scientists attend 17th World Congress on Controversies in Neurology

The Azerbaijani delegation, consisting of experts from the Ministry of Health, neurologists Prof. Rena Shiraliyeva, Prof. Sadagat Huseynova and Prof. Ayten Mammadbeyli, also took part in this conference, attended by neurologists from all around the world. Azerbaijani scientists Messoud Ashina and Håkan Ashina presented their conference papers.

Professor Sadagat Huseynova, Director of the Scientific Research Institute for Medical Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Health, delivered a presentation on “Rehabilitation of patients with gunshot wounds to peripheral nerves of the lower extremities.”

The conference featured extensive discussions and debates on topical issues of modern neurology such as headaches, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases.
