Ilham Aliyev explained how Azerbaijan’s return of occupied lands will impact other conflicts

“The changes in our region may seem local. But in fact, they have much broader consequences, as the main geopolitical change since our last meeting here a year ago has been the full restoration of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty,” stated President Ilham Aliyev on March 14, speaking at the opening ceremony of the XI Global Baku Forum on the theme “Fixing the Fractured World.”

“And this is indeed a very serious geopolitical change, which, I believe, will have many positive consequences for resolving conflicts that seem insoluble,” noted the head of state.
