An Azerbaijani student studying in Scotland has been awarded a high prize

Aliya Orujova, the only Azerbaijani student to study in a senior class with a complicated program, was awarded the prize for her high marks in all subjects and for her progress in learning mathematics.

It should be noted that this is not the only success of Aliya Orujova. Earlier this year, she and her schoolmate Eloise Reid won a national competition for gender equality in Scotland’s digital technology sector together. The “ADA” Festival is dedicated to Ada Lovelace, one of the first mathematicians of the 19th century, and aims to eliminate gender inequality in computer science education.

It should be noted that Aliya Orujova is the daughter of our compatriot artist Leyla Orujova.
