Ankara demands demolition of Nemesis memorial in Yerevan and warns Armenia

According to him, Ankara has taken these steps to contribute to the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

“But they showed their insincerity once again. … We do not accept the installation of the monument (Nemesis) glorifying the killings of our Ottoman pashas and Azerbaijani brothers,” APA quotes him as saying.

Çavuşoğlu added that the Turkish side had warned official Yerevan regarding the removal of the monument and would take new steps with respect to Armenia on this matter.
