EIU forecasts stability of Azerbaijani manat until 2029

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) maintains a fixed exchange rate to the U.S. dollar, and the outlook for the manat remains stable due to a significant positive current account surplus. According to EIU experts, the key policy priority for the CBA during the 2024–2028 period will be to maintain the stability of the manat, supported by the country’s substantial foreign exchange reserves.
