Hajiyev held talks with U.S. Congressman and Senator on the future of relations

Aide to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev, held meetings with Chairman of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee Brian Mast and Senator Steve Daines.

According to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Washington, the sides discussed the strategic significance of the Washington summit on August 8 between President Ilham Aliyev and U.S. President Donald Trump. It was emphasized that the outcome of the meeting contributes to strengthening Azerbaijan–U.S. relations and regional stability.

Hikmet Hajiyev highlighted the importance of repealing Section 907 and invited the American lawmakers to visit Azerbaijan.
