High Representative: Azerbaijan is important partner of EU

“Azerbaijan is an important partner of the European Union (EU). Our cooperation with Azerbaijan is intensifying,” said Josep Borrel, the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, at the press conference on the results of the 18th meeting of the Azerbaijan-European Union Cooperation Council, Report informs.

He said that the EU supports the South Caucasus as a peaceful and prosperous region: “For this purpose, it is important to establish a dialogue with partners. The EU and Azerbaijan are partners.”
