Pope Leo XIV wishes Azerbaijan solidarity and prosperity

Pope Leo XIV sent a congratulatory letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of Independence Day.

“On the occasion of your national holiday, I am pleased to convey to Your Excellency and the people of Azerbaijan my wishes of solidarity and prosperity.

I pray that the Almighty may inspire the people of Azerbaijan to further develop their society. May they always be advocates of peace, working for the common good, protecting the dignity of every person, and helping those in need.
