Presidential aide: Geopolitical tensions are a cause for concern for Azerbaijan

This was stated by Shahmar Movsumov, the presidential aide of Azerbaijan, at the “Customs-Business 2023” Forum in Baku, as reported by APA.

He noted that the geopolitical tensions, which threaten to disrupt the global trade system, are a cause for concern for Azerbaijan.

“In light of this, some of the important directions of the social-economic development strategy adopted by President Ilham Aliyev include ensuring the competitiveness of the economy, transitioning to an export-oriented economic model, organizing the production of high-tech products, and playing a special role in the global value chain,” added Shahmar Movsumov.
