Russia and Iran agree on gas pipeline route through Azerbaijan

This was stated by Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev in a briefing with journalists.

“The route through Azerbaijan has been agreed upon. We are now in the final stage of negotiations — approving the price. The volumes have already been determined. Price is always a commercial matter, a search for compromise, which is why working groups have been formed on both sides, and specialists are developing an approach to pricing,” the minister said.
