Samir Sharifov highlights depletion of Azerbaijan’s oil reserves

This statement was made by Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov during a joint session of the parliamentary committees on legal policy and state-building, defense, security and anti-corruption, human rights, and regional issues, as reported by Report.

“One reason for this is the reduction in the projected price of Azerbaijani oil in the state budget from $75 to $70 per barrel. Another reason is the depletion of our oil field reserves,” the minister noted.
