SOCAR signed a contract with Uniper for long-term gas supplies

According to SOCAR, the meeting attended by delegations from SOCAR and Uniper discussed steps taken towards expanding the Southern Gas Corridor, achievements in human resource development at SOCAR, and Uniper’s new strategy. A presentation was also made on the work done on energy transition in Azerbaijan and future SOCAR projects.

The event featured speeches by the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany, leaders of SOCAR and Uniper, and an exchange of ideas and experiences in developing the energy sector.

The meeting emphasized the importance of the event in terms of expanding cooperation between the companies, discussing energy issues, and planned projects.

A “Cooperation Program for 2024” was signed between SOCAR and Uniper as part of the event.
