Turkey requests to open consulate in Shusha

The Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan, Cahit Bagci, informed journalists, “For a consulate to be opened in Khankendi, the city needs to be ready. We have made a request to open a consulate in Shusha. Negotiations are ongoing between the two countries on this matter, and Turkey is assessing the process. An announcement will be made when the time comes,” he emphasized.
