Uzbekistan modernizes its army based on the “Azerbaijani model”

Türkiye’s Minister of National Defense, Yasar Guler, said that an advisory delegation had been sent to Uzbekistan following the model of cooperation with Azerbaijan.

“The brotherly and friendly countries that we sincerely support want us to help create an armed forces structure similar to Türkiye’s.

As part of ongoing military cooperation with the friendly and brotherly country of Uzbekistan, with which we share deep historical and cultural ties, an advisory delegation headed by our major general was sent to Uzbekistan, just as it was to Azerbaijan.”
