Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora received author of German book about Shusha

Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov received German scholar  Hess, Associate Professor at the University of Giessen, and the two discussed in Azerbaijani the latter’s book The Legacy of Shusha. The History and Path of Development of Azerbaijan’s Cultural Capital.

M. Hess said that the main purpose of the book is to bring the rich heritage of Karabakh and Shusha in the history of Azerbaijani literature and culture to the knowledge of a wide readership.

Thanking the scholar for the 25 years he had given to studying Azerbaijan, Fuad Muradov emphasized the importance of foreign experts, people of science researching the Karabakh region and the importance of translating this book published in German into other foreign languages in the future.
